Development Minister Kapil Sibal Wednesday said the government is in talks with Unique Identification Authority chief Nandan Nilekani to map disabled children in the country to record their educational growth.
“We are talking to Nandan about it. If we can map these differently-abled people, then their educational growth can also be recorded,” Sibal said here.
“If we can do it through Unique ID, then it can later be linked to their health condition. This will make thing easier,” the minister said after unveiling two books on inclusive education by Mithu Alur.
